Ariana Grande is entering her new era of fame and it’s leaning into old Hollywood glamour.
Grande walked the 2025 Gold Globes red carpet wearing a never-been-worn 1966 Givenchy Haute Couture gown. The golden strapless number protrudes out at the chest and is embellished with jewels in a diamond-like pattern. The rest of the dress drapes elegantly down to the floor. She paired it with custom-dyed Stuart Weitzman pointed-toe heels and white gloves. She kept it simple with her jewelry, wearing a diamond Swarovski choker necklace and small dangling earrings.
She leaned back into her pop-girl roots, wearing a barrel-curled ponytail with a small, chic bang reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn, taking the Givenchy connection a step further (Hepburn was famously Givenchy’s muse). Many fans have stated that Grande’s style during her Wicked press era felt very old-school glamorous, and similar in taste to that of the beloved British actress. Grande kept her makeup simple, wearing a nudish-pink lip color and light gold makeup. See the full look here.

Grande is currently up for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture category. The 31-year-old played Glinda in the movie-musical Wicked. She and her co-star Cynthia Erivo have been nonstop viral during their press tour because of their emotional shared moments during every single interview.
Ariana Grande previously spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about being recognized for a Golden Globe award alongside Cynthia Erivo, saying, “It’s just so surreal, and I just feel so deeply grateful. We were just very immersed in the work, and I was so grateful to have the chance to do the work, and I was so excited to do the work every single day. From the lead-up to my first audition to the last day on set on both of the films, I was leading with deep gratitude every day. And we were doing our best, Cynthia and I both, just to stay present in the work with each other. And I just feel so proud and grateful as a friend, as a partner in this, with Cynthia, and as a literal citizen of Oz, everyone poured their entire hearts into this, and every single detail, every layer of it is felt. And I don’t know, I’m just so grateful. It’s hard to articulate.”
