Copenhagen Fashion Week marks the unofficial start of the autumn/winter 2025 womenswear fashion calendar, and while it always take place in the dreary month of January, the Scandinavian fashion showcased on and off the runway is anything but glum.
Cult fashion label Baum Und Pferdgarten staged their track-and-field-inspired collection on a race track with models carrying crystal football clutches, and A. Roege Hove’s size-inclusive collection featured plenty of delicious knits and pleating. While Ganni was notably missing from the calendar again having decamped for Paris last season, Rotate, the go-to label for party wear, and colourblocking masters Stine Goya are sure to close out the week with a bang.
After all, if there’s one thing the Scandi style set know how to do, it’s fun, cosy chic—and that applies on and off the runways. The Danish capital boasts some of the best street style of fashion month and from the looks of the outfits this season, the fashion girls did not disappoint.
From highlighter yellow looks to pony-print coats, the outfits gave us plenty of winter dressing inspo that were as uplifting as they were practical. Plenty of head scarves or knitted hoods were spotted as the key accessory to keeping warm (and for some top tier colour coordinating), but it’s furry bucket hats that have got us talking. Paired with sporty and tailored looks alike, the street style stars at Copenhagen Fashion Week are proving these bucket hats might be the next bag charm. You heard it here first.
