The actor, who is nominated for her leading roles in Dune: Part 2 and Challengers, arrived on the red carpet in a stunning topaz dress with matching copper hair and orange makeup, committing to some of the season’s biggest trends. While the look itself is buzz-worthy, some eagle-eyed fans have focused on a specific detail, speculating if she’s potentially wearing an engagement ring.
ICYMI: Zendaya has been dating Tom Holland for quite some time now. The duo originally were co-stars in the Spider-Man reboot series that began in 2017. While they notably tend not to attend red carpets together, fans can’t help but wonder if the ring is a sign of their commitment for a few reasons.
First, people took notice of the ring being on her left ring finger, traditionally where engagement rings are worn. “Wait a minute,” wrote one X user, zooming in on the ring on her hand. The same user added, “doesn’t match her other pieces.” Second, from the photos at the Golden Globes 2025, the ring on her left hand seemingly has a gold band, contrasting the platinum silver finish of her necklace and the other ring on her right hand. Similarly, her other jewelry from Bulgari, the brand Zendaya serves as an ambassador for, featured aquamarine gemstones, but the ring on her left hand did not. Other fans were watching her throughout the night and think she was spotted showing off the ring to another Spider-Man co-star, Amy Pascal.

An anonymous tip to DeuxMoi alleges that the ring is not from Bulgari like the other jewelry but rather Jessica McCormack, a London-based jewellery designer. Though the brand has not yet been confirmed, the ring features an east-west oval diamond, based on photos from the Golden Globes, similar to one on the Jessica McCormack website.
Later on during the Golden Globes, Zendaya had an outfit change. She swapped her orange dress for a beige jacquard slip and took off the statement necklace, but the ring on her left hand was still there.
