Ok, Jade Thirlwall just spilled some serious tea. Directioners, please prepare for a shock — even Harry Styles is prone to bad dating habits… or at least he was… apparently.
Which bad habits? Well, the Little Mix singer, who recently appeared on The Louis Theroux Podcast, has revealed that Styles ghosted her way back in 2010.

“We went on like one date when we were 16 or something,” she said. This was right around the time that One Direction was being formed on The X Factor. That year, Thirlwall was also going through the show’s audition process. Although she didn’t make the cut that year, in 2011, she became one quarter of Little Mix on the show.
Just think of it. Harry Styles and Jade Thirlwall. X Factor royalty. They would have been the pop It couple. But it wasn’t meant to be.
According to Thirlwall, Styles ghosted her “the minute [One Direction] went on live shows. “And I thought, ‘That’s it now, he’s gone. He made it,’” she said.

The pair bumped into each other backstage at The X Factor in 2011. “I saw him in a room after and he was like, ‘I’m really sorry that I ignored you,’” she recalled. “I was so young. It didn’t really matter.”
She added, “He got himself where he is because he’s very talented. He’s very lovely, very charming.”
Styles went on to date the likes of Emily Atack and Taylor Swift in the years that followed. Most recently, he has been linked to actor Taylor Russell.
Meanwhile, Thirlwall has been in a relationship with actor Jordan Stephens since 2020.
