On Saturday, January 4, some of the biggest names in Hollywood gathered at the famous Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles for the 2025 W Magazine Best Performances Party ahead of the Golden Globes. The award ceremony is set for Sunday, January 5 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and will be hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser.
Actors including Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Selena Gomez, Margaret Qualley, Nicole Kidman, Demi Moore, Kieran Culkin, and more are up for awards in the best actor and supporting actors categories. Some of the year’s biggest box office hits including Wicked, Challengers, Dune: Part 2, The Substance, A Complete Unknown, and more are up for best motion picture. Th Golden Globes also awards accolades in television, including honoring shows like The Bear, Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building, and more.
The pre-party gathered some of this year’s nominees and showcased large photos of them throughout the party. Pamela Anderson posed in front of a huge backdrop of herself, while Nicole Kidman wore an oversized suit next to her own black and white picture. Bottoms stars Rachel Sennott, Kaia Gerber, and Ayo Edebiri reunited at the party, posing with each other in their chic dresses. The cast of The Bear also gathered together, while two of the biggest pop stars of last year, Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX, posed with pink flowers together. Erivo was without her Wicked co-star Ariana Grande for the evening, but Grande was also making her rounds in the LA area, preparing for the busy award season and the many awards that Wicked is sure to collect. Grande won the Rising Star award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards on Friday.
