Taylor Swift Steps Out in All Black for Dinner at Nobu in New York City

Taylor Swift is leaning into the New York City winter aesthetic by wearing all black for an evening out.

The Eras Tour superstar stepped out on Friday, January 17, in Manhattan to go to dinner with her parents Scott and Andrea Swift, along with stylist and friend Ashley Avignone at Nobu Downtown. Swift’s walk from the car to the restaurant photoshoots have become a part of celebrity history at this point, as she’s been spotted many times over the years going to dinners with her famous friends and boyfriend Travis Kelce.

This time, Swift looked buttoned-up in an all-black number to match the classic New Yorker style often seen in the colder months. The singer wore a matching blazer and skirt set from AREA, which featured a cropped fit and two lapels with chains holding the top together. She paired the clothes with sheer tights and thigh-high black boots from Chloe.

Swift carried a small black Jimmy Choo clutch and accessorized with multiple rings and Chanel earrings. It wouldn’t be a completed Taylor Swift look without a bright red lip and her signature bangs, which brought some color to her dark outfit.

Swift’s appearance on Friday comes shortly after she announced her donations toward relief organizations for the devastating Los Angeles fires that have swept through the area.

“The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it’s been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “So much suffering, loss, and destruction. As so many people embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild.”

Swift then shared that she donated to 211 LA, California Community Foundation Fund, Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation, MusiCares, and many more.

The singer has a busy weekend ahead as a football girlfriend, with Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs playing their first playoff game on Saturday against the Houston Texans. It’s unclear if Swift will attend, but likely so.
