Speaking of rising stars, young British actor Raffey Cassidy’s plunging column got a few oohs and aahs from our team thanks to the beautifully embroidered dandelions sprinkled throughout her dress, which would make for the perfect reception or civil ceremony dress.

On the other end of the spectrum, there were nearly just as many black dresses. From Felicity Jones to Vanessa Kirby, plenty of A-listers opted to go dark and demure. Save for Demi Moore’s heavily embellished, kaleidoscopic McQueen gown and Saoirse Ronan’s mint green Prada number, colour was MIA for the evening. Thankfully, the pristine, white outfits in varying silhouettes were all dramatic enough to carry the BAFTAs 2025 red carpet.
