Watch Billie Eilish Pay Tribute to LA in Moving Grammys 2025 Performance

Billie Eilish paid homage to her hometown Los Angeles at Grammys 2025 with a sweet, heartfelt performance.

The musician, who was born and raised in the City of Angels, was joined onstage by her brother and most frequent collaborator, Finneas, as the second performer of the night after a group performance of Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.” and a message about hope and togetherness in the wake of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

As expected, she performed the massively successful “Birds of a Feather,” wearing an oversized orange shirt, baggy jeans and a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap over a long black ponytail. The stage was transformed into a canyon setting with a blue sky and mountain backdrop and rocky floor, with boulders and plants scattered about.

Her bandmates played amidst the brush as fake sunlight danced across the stage through the clouds. As she sang, childhood photos of herself and Finneas appeared against the backdrop—a lovely way to shout out the city that shaped her. “I love you, LA,” she said at the end of the song to plenty of applause. (A fan even caught Taylor Swift and Margaret Qualley dancing during the performance.)
