The naked dress trend is going through a bit of a metamorphosis and BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim is the latest to take it for a spin with what’s perhaps the most wearable take on the trend to date.
In the past years, we have seen a resurgence of sheer dresses on catwalks, red carpets, and beyond. Celebs like Charli XCX, Lily Rose Depp, Dakota Johnson, Megan Thee Stallion, and Bella Hadid have all tried their hand at the so-called “naked dress” trend but not many have dared to take the trend into the everyday realm — that is, until Jennie Kim.
Spotted on February 28 at Icheon Airport on her way to Los Angeles for an event tied to her upcoming album Ruby, Jennie gave the naked dress a boho-chic spin, adding plenty of layers to tone down the sheerness.

Jennie posed for photographers before entering the airport rocking a sheer mesh maxi dress from French brand Lemaire, which she paired with dark brown laceup boots also from the brand. Playing with three different textures, Jennie balanced the dress’s transparency by layering over a green flannel shirt and an oversized suede jacket by Polish brand Leo Season.
