Maxx Morando is best known as the drummer of Los Angeles-based rock band Liily, which was set up in 2016. Previously, Morando was also the drummer of another L.A. band called The Regrettes from 2015–2018. As a musician, he also produced “Handstand” and co-produced “Violet Chemistry” from Cyrus’s 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation.
Born in 1998, Morando is notoriously private so, outside of his relationship with Cyrus, little else is known about his personal life. He has no Wikipedia page, and you likely won’t find pictures of him on the internet if he’s not accompanying Cyrus — but, luckily, he often does. The Oscars 2025 brought many eyes to the couple, but their relationship goes back a while.
