When we first met Millie Bobby Brown on screen as Eleven in Stranger Things, the then-tween actor had shaved her hair off and was sporting a buzz cut for her role. Since then, Brown has sported a number of different hairstyles off screen, from the original buzz cut to an impromptu curly bob, her current long blonde hair, and plenty more in between.
While Brown didn’t shave her head again for season 4’s flashback scenes — she and the hair team went through a meticulous process to make it look like she had a buzz cut instead — it turns out that she’s actually not opposed to revisiting the look. In fact, there’s one particular occasion that she wants to shave her hair off for.
In an interview with Alex Cooper for Call Her Daddy, Brown shared that she did not have a hard time shaving her hair off originally. Rather, she said she “loved the experience.” So much so, she revealed that she wants to do it again. “I always tell Jake [Bongiovi], for my first baby, I want to shave my hair off,” she told Cooper.
“Maybe right before I’m about to give birth because I just think hair is such an ordeal anyway to deal with,” Brown elaborated. “I’m gonna nurture my child. Why deal with my hair? And I think it’s such a liberating experience. To be a woman is, and I felt like I had that experience as a girl, but I’d like to have that experience as a woman.”
Brown and Bongiovi originally started dating in 2021. The couple married in May 2024 after getting engaged in April 2023. And while we’re not quite sure when they’ll embark on parenthood, we do at least know what hairstyle brown will be sporting now.
