Hailey Bieber loves a good fashion moment. Her street style over the years has evolved making her one to follow when building out your closet. The 28-year-old recently stepped out in New York City leaving Cafe Zaffri wearing clear, see-through heels — a shoe moment straight from the 2010 archives. The look is a direct nod to the transparent shoe craze made famous in the early 2000s by brands like Gianvito Rossi — amongst many others. The popular shoes have always been seen as high-fashion, but also high-maintenance with its tendency to fog up if you’re walking for far too long. Some celebrities who’ve previously tapped into the see-through heels trend over the years include family friends like Kim and Khloe Kardashian. More recently, designer Amina Muaddi has popularized the shoe again. Bieber is in fact wearing a pair of Gianvito Rossi, choosing to tap into the originators of this popular shoe style. While the trend in the early 2000s leaned a bit more eclectic, Bieber’s look is definitely more polished — leaning into her very “girl-next-door” style of dressing. Her use of the clear heels leans more minimal, really letting the shoes be the star of the look.
