Sami Sheen recently shared her struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The daughter of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen hopped onto social media and talked about how her OCD impacts her daily life.
The Denise Richards & Her Wild Things star has always been open about her thoughts and opinions. From calling out her sister to sharing that she doesn’t like spending time with her dad, she’s never been one to hide the truth. And she recently opened up about her struggles with being obsessive-compulsive.
Sami Sheen explains why people calling themselves “so OCD” aggravates her
Sami got on TikTok to share her honest thoughts about OCD and how it irritates her when people claim to be OCD. She captioned the video, “So fun! #ocd.”
“Nothing aggravates me more than when someone’s like, ‘Oh my God, I’m so OCD. I need to keep my room clean and organized,” the OnlyFans star said.
OCD impacts a lot of people to varying degrees. It’s defined by Mayo Clinic as a mental health condition characterized by recurring, unwanted thoughts, images, or obsessions and repetitive behaviors or compulsions. These can be time-consuming and significantly impact daily life. For some it can be debilitating.
Sami shared how her OCD impacts her life. “I’m so OCD that even if I buy something from the grocery store that day and I read the expiration date over and over and over and over and over again, somehow I will convince myself it’s a fake expiration date and it’s actually expired a year ago. And if I eat it, I’m going to get violently ill. So I have to throw it away and starve,” she explained.
Several fans shared their own battles with OCD in the comments section of Sami’s video. Some talked about being unable to drink water from cups, another talked about strange food behavior, while others talked about unusual sleep patterns.
It seems Sami opening up allowed people the chance to share their own experiences. And this isn’t the only time she’s talked about her health issues. She recently revealed that she would be having her breast implants removed because they were making her sick. She’s also had fillers, a nose job, Botox, and veneers in the past.
