Fans haven’t seen much of SUR Restaurant and Lounge and the SURvers since Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules wrapped last May 2024. And with the reboot ongoing, it may be a while longer before they return to our screens. However, Lisa Vanderpump’s iconic restaurant SUR is still super busy. And they claim big things are coming.
When Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules comes back, we’ll be meeting a brand new cast of employees that actually work at Lisa’s restaurant. But that doesn’t mean the restaurant will be silent during the break. SUR took to social media to announce what’s coming ahead.
SUR is cooking up something “unmissable”
On July 13, SUR posted a big update to the restaurant’s Instagram page. The photo featured one of the owners, Guillermo Zapata alongside the EC twins. The twins are a musical DJ duo famous for their contributions to the House music scene.
“Something BIG is coming to SUR,” the caption said. “We’re teaming up with the legendary DJs EC Twins for a night you won’t forget. The energy, the people. The BEST party vibes in West Hollywood. Stay tuned, the date drops soon.”
The post promised that the event was going to be “unmissable.”
So it looks like SUR is looking to fill in the in between before Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules premieres. So far, fans just know the basics for the show’s future. The show is being rebooted to go back to its roots of featuring the fun staff of the restaurant.
Peter Madrigal, who is confirmed still working at SUR shared previously that he knew the new cast and that fans can expect a lot of drama. He reiterated that there was always drama going on at SUR and the new group is going to be intense.
Lisa echoed his sentiments and said that viewers are not going to be disappointed. Meanwhile the former cast of VPR is off and busy doing their own projects. Ariana Madix just successfully hosted Love Island USA, Katie Maloney is running her sandwich shop with Ariana, and Tom Sandoval is on American’s Got Talent to name a few.
Vanderpump Rules is now streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
