Amid Harry’s reported estrangement from the family, his father, King Charles, has been battling cancer. Now, according to new claims, the duke is “worried” William will “banish” him after the latter becomes the king.

A new report claims Prince Harry has concerns about Prince William sending him on a potential exile after the latter takes the crown. Biographer Tom Bower told the Mirror that the Duke of Sussex is “desperate” to repair his relationship with his father, King Charles, who has been battling cancer. According to the royal expert, Harry is “seriously worried.” The 40-year-old reportedly thinks that “when his father dies one day,” his brother will “literally banish him.”
Bower said, “He will have no status in Britain at all,” adding, “He will be persona non grata.” The biographer also believes that the family reconciliation may not happen. Bower claimed that Harry meeting Charles again “depends” on how he “behaves.” Meanwhile, the duke reportedly “needs a meeting” with his father to “show he is part of the Royal Family.” Along with that, he may also try to “establish his credibility in Britain.”
However, according to the royal expert, taking the “first step” is challenging for Harry. This is because the Palace may not “give him access to Charles.” The former journalist claims the Palace suspects that the Duke of Sussex will “use” the meeting with the 76-year-old to “establish his credibility.” Bower continued, “That’s what he desperately needs,” adding that this is why Harry is being “kept away.”
The latest claims come after two of the Sussexes’ key aides recently met Charles’ communication chief. The meeting has sparked rumors about a possible end to Prince Harry’s rift with the Royal Family.
