West Wilson loves to bring the laughs to Summer House — but it’s been harder for the jokester without Paige DeSorbo in the Hamptons.
“It sucks,” West, 30, said about filming without Paige, 32, on the Wednesday, July 30, episode of his and Sophie Cunningham’s “Show Me Something” podcast.
The sports journalist noted that the biggest change for him has been in the jokes department. “I think our senses of humor were the same,” West explained, noting, “If I made a joke … she would laugh first.”
West confessed, “So that part [is] always tough.” Luckily, he confirmed that he and Paige are still friends, telling listeners, “She’s great.”
Paige was a fixture on Summer House for seven seasons starting with 2019’s season 3. For years, Paige enticed fans with her fashionable looks and sassy one-liners.
Before her departure, she took Hamptons bed-rotting to the next level and teamed up with Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula to host the ultimate pajama party at the conclusion of season 9.

However, Paige surprised fans last month when she announced that she would not be returning for season 10. “Being a part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable,” she wrote via Instagram on June 5.
The “Giggly Squad” podcast cohost added: “You’ve seen me grow up over these last seven summers. I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”
Later that month, Paige told her podcast listeners that she “gave all I could give” to the Bravo series before making the choice to leave. Her departure came months after Paige announced her split from Craig Conover in late 2024 after three years of dating.
Since exiting the series, Paige has focused on her podcast, fashion endeavors, cat Daphne and new budding romance with Joe D’Amelio. (Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that Paige and Joe have been “quietly dating” for a “while now.”)
While Paige recenters herself off camera, her former costar Lindsay Hubbard exclusively told Us that it might not be the last fans see of Paige on a Bravo series.
When asked whether a Summer House spinoff could happen with the ladies of the show, Lindsay said, “I think the fans are onto something,” then winked twice at the camera.
Although a spinoff has yet to be greenlit, viewers will get to see Lindsay, 38, back in the Hamptons for her first season as a mom. (Lindsay welcomed her daughter, Gemma, in December 2024 with then-boyfriend Turner Kufe.)
“This is Gemma’s first summer. And obviously, I love summer. I’m a summer baby,” Lindsay told Us on June 11, noting that seeing Gemma “enjoy her first summer” will be amazing. But the TV personality insisted, “Summer House can’t get rid of me.”
West, meanwhile, will be back for his third season alongside Jesse Solomon. OG stars Lindsay, Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke are also slated to appear on the upcoming 10th season of the reality show, as well as Amanda, who became a full-time cast member during season 2. Ciara, 29, is expected to return as well.
Season 9 newbies Lexi Wood and Imrul Hassan both announced earlier this summer that they would not return for a second round.
A premiere date for Summer House season 10 has not been announced.
