Margaret Qualley is proving she’s the ultimate bombshell in a minidress. Whether it’s black, white, or made of tweed, the 30-year-old actor isn’t afraid of a short hemline, and her latest looks are great inspiration for a homecoming dress.
The Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Class of 2018 actor was making her rounds of press appearances this week in New York City as she promotes her latest project, Honey Don’t! — a queer true crime story that also stars Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans, Charlie Day, and Billy Eichner. The Ethan Coen-directed film follows Qualley’s Honey O’Donahue, a small-town private investigator who is looking into a series of unsolved deaths tied to a local church while also having a love affair with Plaza’s character.
As she was promoting her latest movie, Qualley embraced the New York heatwave and opted for two short dresses. The actor walked the red carpet at the premiere of Honey Don’t! at the Metrograph theater in Manhattan, wearing a little black dress made just for her — literally. Qualley wore a custom Chanel minidress made out of the brand’s signature tweed material that featured spaghetti straps and a short hemline.

Qualley paired the simple LBD with a pair of black strappy heels, along with her wedding ring courtesy of husband Jack Antonoff. She also slicked back her hair to a low bun, showing off her large diamond stud earrings, bold brows, and dewy makeup.
