It’s nice to know that after seven years of marriage and two kids, Prince Harry still makes his wife’s heart flutter. On August 22, Meghan Markle posted an Instagram video of the Duke of Sussex on a surfboard. The video was accompanied by the song “Whatta Man” by Salt-N-Pepa featuring En Vogue.
“We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to bring you this important message,” Meghan wrote below the clip, followed by a fox emoji. Since moving to California in 2020, Prince Harry has become quite the amateur surfer.
Meghan Markle is proud of her man Prince Harry’s surfing skills
The use of the fox emoji was no coincidence, since Meghan often describes Princess Diana’s younger son as a “fox.” While appearing on her first-ever podcast show as a guest, the Duchess gushed over her ginger-haired man.
“He’s also a fox, if you haven’t noticed,” she told The Jamie Kern Lima Show in April. “My husband’s very, very handsome, but his heart is even more beautiful.”
In her latest Instagram tribute, Meghan proudly sent some loving support to her handsome hubby. The surfing skills can also be indirectly attributed to his wife. She’s the one who bought him surf lessons for his birthday shortly after their move to California.
In October 2024, professional surfer Raimana Van Bastolaer posted another impressive video of the Duke. Taken at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch, a man-made wave facility in Lemoore, California, the video showed off Harry’s amazing surfing skills.
Fifth in line for the crown, Harry has been estranged from his family since he and Meghan left the UK. He’s made it clear, however, that he misses his family and hopes to reunite with them in the future.
Though his brother Prince William seems to hold a grudge, they are both invited to their cousin Peter Phillips’ upcoming wedding. Royal watchers are hoping a family reunion will somehow miraculously take place.
