Bad Bunny is an incredibly successful music artist. For three years straight, from 2020 to 2022, he was the most-streamed artist on Spotify. His album, Un Verano Sin Ti, also broke a record on Spotify. It’s become one of the most listened to albums of all time on the music streaming service. While the majority of his lyrics are in Spanish, he appeals to fans across languages and cultures. This is especially true for those in the United States.
Bad Bunny’s most recent tour was one of the highest-grossing of all time. With all these records broken, it’s no surprise that fans in the United States are hopeful he will tour the country again. However, recent political issues have prevented him from bringing his show back.
Bad Bunny has chosen to leave the United States off his touring schedule due to ICE Raids. He is focusing on his residency in San Juan, where countless fans have traveled to see him.
Bad Bunny left the US out of his world tour due to ICE raid concerns

“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate—I’ve performed there many times,” he told i-D. “All of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent.”
He continued, “I’ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the US, but specifically, for a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we are an unincorporated territory of the US… People from the US could come here to see the show.”
His main reason for staying out of the United States? ICE. “But there was the issue of—like, f*cking ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about,” he told the publication. This isn’t the first time he has spoken out against ICE. He made a now-deleted Instagram video talking about a raid he witnessed.
