Selena Gomez Wore the Perfect $80 Gazelle Alternative for Fall

After getting engaged to Benny Blanco in 2024, the Only Murders in the Building star has been in full bachelorette mode for the past month and giving us plenty of style inspiration along the way.

Shortly after posting a recap of her stylish bachelorette party in Cabo, Mexico, Selena Gomez took to Instagram once again to post a photo dump from a late summer lake escapade with her fiancé and friends, which doubled as the perfect fall style vision board with $80 trending sneaker style to boot.

In two slides from Gomez’s recent photo carousel, we see the star clad in what just might be the perfect fall uniform, complete with an oversized denim jacket, a striped mint and teal tank top with a matching hair clip from Emi Jay, a tenniscore pleated skirt, and the pièce de résistance: $80 suede sneakers from Steve Madden that stand as a nicher and slightly more affordable alternative to the uber popular Sambas, Gazelles, and Spezials.

The sneakers chosen by Gomez are the low-top lace-up Steve Madden Verdict in the tan multi colorway, which features a light brown, almost mustardy color with white accents, including two diagonal stripes on the sides and a white heel tab.

Gomez’s shoes differ from other popular suede designs by incorporating mesh suede in the upper for more texture and contrast. The shoe also features a matching brown sole, which is thicker and slightly higher at the back for a sportier touch.
