The relationship between women’s basketball and fashion has never been more intertwined. Not only are the players some of the most stylish people in sports – with iconic tunnel walks taking over our social media feeds – but fashion and beauty brands are also recognizing the power and influence these athletes have.
That’s why it’s no surprise that, sitting front row at Coach’s spring-summer 2026 show in New York City, were WNBA stars Kiki Iriafen and Aneesah Morrow — and Teen Vogue was there to soak in the BTS buzz and catch up with the players right after the show to learn all about their looks — and, of course, their thoughts on the show.
“Women’s basketball is just growing rapidly, working with Coach, it’s authentic,” Morrow tells Teen Vogue. “As an athlete, you want to be around as many authentic things as you possibly can, and Coach wants you to do that, and they want you to embrace that.” Irifen adds: “It’s not cookie-cutter. And I think this idea of being unique, being versatile is something that I really try to embody.”

“I wanted to give Boss Energy,” Morrow tells Teen Vogue of her look when we catch up after the show. “I came up in here with a suit and pants, also wearing black. I feel like that’s very elegant. I know Coach always does an amazing job with turning classic looks and making ’em fun, and I feel like that’s what I did tonight.”

Iriafen, on the other hand, opted for a more casual approach. “I went with a casual chic, some nice denim, some heels, a leather jacket, and a crop top. I feel like staying true to myself, but yeah, this is something that we picked out together and I just want something that I would feel comfortable, but cut in,” she shares.
