Season 7 of Love Island USA didn’t result in many matches that survived outside the villa. Pepe Garcia and his lady, Iris Kendall, came in fourth place. They were still a couple, albeit a tense one, during the Love Island USA reunion. However, Iris and Pepe called it quits after that.
The former professional basketball player, who entered the villa with fellow bombshell Iris, seemed ready to make their romance work. However, Iris’ lightning-fast reunion with her former Love Island flame, TJ Palma, might have been an issue. Now, Pepe is sharing what his dating life is like these days.
Pepe Garcia is still looking for love
While we don’t know exactly why the couple split up, Pepe denied the cheating rumors that were swirling around him. Recently, TMZ caught up with Pepe and grilled him about his current dating status. “It’s been ups and downs, like everything,” Pepe admitted, adding, “Well, you can never stop, right? It’s like everything – trying to find the right person.”
As for whether Pepe would give another reality dating show a try? That’s a definite maybe. “I don’t know if I would go on another reality TV show. I might be doing a spin-off of a certain show that I may have been on,” Pepe explained. “But I don’t know if I’ll go on reality TV to find love.”
When asked if Pepe keeps in touch with the cast, especially TJ, the professional trainer was a bit cagey at first. “I keep in touch with certain people, and the people that I keep in touch with, we were cool. It’s just like everything in life,” Pepe stated. “You keep in touch with your closest friends, right? And you keep your circle small, and that’s the same thing with me.”
However, when TMZ again asked if Pepe was still in contact with TJ, he shut down the questions. “No comment on that,” he responded.
