Tara Reid’s recent medical scare may have been someone else’s doing. The actress was rushed to the hospital early Sunday after passing out at a hotel just outside of Chicago. The American Pie actress claims that someone spiked her drink, causing paramedics to be called out and take her to the hospital. According to Tara, it’s not just her hunch which supports this theory. She said that people at the hospital told her that she’d been “drugged.”
At the same time, she reportedly didn’t ask what drug it was. She alleges to have gone down to the hotel bar late Saturday night, saying YouTubers were filming.

It was a forgettable weekend for Tara, but one she’s trying her best to recall. She tells TMZ the explanation she got from the hospital was very “vague.” According to her, she went to the bar around 10:30 Saturday evening and was in the hospital around midnight before waking up eight hours later.
That seems to slightly contradict the video, which shows her in a wheelchair near the hotel lobby around 12:30 and in the ambulance before 1 AM. Tara suspects her drink was spiked about 30 minutes after arriving at the bar. She claims to have gone outside for a smoke. Upon returning, she claims she saw a napkin on her glass which hadn’t been there before.
When the episode happened someone alleges Tara was shouting, “I am famous. I’m an actress.” People at the hotel bar say everything seemed fine with her until the bar closed. Her behavior supposedly changed rapidly after that.
Tara added that she is considering filing a police report regarding the incident to get to the bottom of everything. A lot of it appears to be a blur, with Tara saying that at one point she thought she was in Mexico.
