Leanne Amaning has left the villa — actually, she never arrived in the first place. Amaning was set to be one of the bombshells on Love Island: All Stars, but, as she recently revealed, she decided to quit before her time on the show began.

Why did Leanne Amaning quit Love Island: All Stars?
As Amaning explain in a TikTok video, she was in “holding” for over two weeks, waiting for the producers to put her in the villa as a bombshell. “The more the show went on, the less sense it made for me to go in there,” she said in the video. Last week, she decided to leave holding without ever entering the villa. “Long story short, because it is actually a long story, I’m back.”
Amaning went on to explain why she initially thought Love Island: All Stars might be a good idea. “This whole situation is so ironic because it took so much convincing and persuading for me to be like, ‘Alright, cool, I’m actually gonna give it a go and be open,’” she said, adding, “because I know what my experience was like last time. Then at the same time I said to myself, ‘I’ve grown, I’ve matured, I’m so different now. I’m a little bit less unhinged. Oh, also I’m single AF.’”
Amaning remained secretive about her specific reasons for quitting the show. However, she did reply to one comment, writing, “aww thank u girlll, i just couldn’t enter that villa to suffer.”
In another comment, she wrote, “dw, if i’m single next year which i really hope i’m not we go again next year.”
In a third comment, she wrote, “there genuinely wasn’t anyone there for me.”

Amaning previously appeared in season 6 of Love Island, which aired back in 2020. She began her journey as one of the OG islanders. She spent the first three weeks with Mike Boateng before being dumped from the island on Day 18 after Leanne got the ick and dumped Mike. He recoupled with Sophie leaving Leanne single.
After leaving the villa the first time around, Amaning answered questions from fans on Instagram. “The two or three months before I went into the villa, I was the happiest I’ve ever been in my life and I’ve been sad. I was finally happy, so I’m kind of annoyed I ruined that,” she said.
She also revealed that the show had taken a serious toll on her mental health. “More than I thought, more than I could imagine,” she said.
