Nicola Coughlan revealed in an interview with E! News that filming began early autumn last year.
While a trailer hasn’t been released yet, we do have a glimpse at season 4 in the form of an adorable behind-the-scenes video, which gives us a first look Benedict’s masked meet-cute with Sophie — and honestly, we are getting flashbacks to Hilary Duff in A Cinderella Story. In the best possible way.

While we couldnj’t be more thrilled to finally have a trailer and some stills, the bad news is that it looks like we’ll have to wait a while for the new season to drop — like, maybe another year or so. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Jess Brownell said: “We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited and then they have to be dubbed into every language.”
