Some may say grandma knows best, but in the case of Blue Ivy Carter, it’s definitely mamma knows best — at least according to grandma of the hour Tina Knowles herself.
Recently, Tina Knowles stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show to talk about being a proud mother and grandmother and took the chance to share some intel about her family’s dynamics, especially regarding advice for her rising superstar granddaughter, Blue Ivy.
When asked if she gave Blue Ivy any advice at all as she receives more and more attention from the masses, Knowles did not hesitate to respond. “Actually, her mother gives her advice,” Knowles said. “[Blue Ivy] and her mother [Beyoncé] are really tight, so they don’t need me to give much advice. They tell me to mind my business, you know?”
To say Knowles is proud of her family would be an understatement. If one of her family members achieves a milestone, she’s the first to shower them with praise on social media — so, of course, this interview would not be an exception.
“Blue is a jack of all trades, as my momma would say,” she said about her granddaughter when asked if she thought she could see her following in Beyoncé’s footsteps. “She could do so many things. We don’t know because she’s only 13, so we’ll see.”
