Kourtney Kardashian is setting the record straight regarding some rumors about her eldest son, Mason Disick.
Kardashian posted an Instagram Story on March 2 clearing up some social media gossip about Mason. Recently, rumors spread via TikTok and Reddit alleging that the 15-year-old had a one-year-old child, but Kardashian is here to squash that story and come to her son’s defense.
“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true,” Kardashian wrote. “They are not. Mason does not have a child,” she continued. “These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE.”
Kardashian went on to say that Mason “really values his privacy” and asked for respect from the media. “He is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him,” she wrote. “Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies.”
She ended her statement by asking others who are making videos about her children to “please stop and leave them alone,” and reiterated that they are children and not adults.

Mason does have an Instagram account; he debuted his official, verified account in May 2024, but rarely posts (his last post was in June). He is also rarely seen on Kardashian’s social media and does not often appear on The Kardashians, though he was heavily featured on the show as a child. (Never forget, his birth was televised!)
It should go without saying that even though Mason Disick and Kourtney Kardashian are celebrities who appear on reality TV, they’re still people — and they deserve to be treated as such. Rumors are just that, rumors, and can be incredibly damaging — especially when they involve children. Anything you see on social media should be taken with a grain of salt.
