Shanté and Brion are still together – after a lot of drama on the show, particularly Brion’s decision to have a threesome with other women. But it seems that this experience led him to realise what he really wants, which is to be with Shanté.
This led to lots of conversations between the two of them, which ultimately led them to a new chapter in their relationship. “As sad as it is and as annoying as it is, I don’t know that we would’ve had those conversations if that didn’t happen,” Shanté said. “We could have just been down this bad spiral of not really knowing how each other feels.”
“It was a big learning experience for me to really see the value of the woman that I have,” Brion told Netflix. “I regret what I did, but I’ve grown up a lot.”
The couple are now in therapy and are on track to move in together soon.

Grant reappeared in Ashley’s life, which she describes as a “sh*t show”.
“I just ran into him out at the bar literally next to my house, and it just went downhill from there,” she says. “He told me that he had been going out to all the places trying to run into me.”
But it soon transpired that Grant was still involved with Natalie, the single woman he was involved with during the experiment. Natalie and Grant began exclusively dating shortly after Grant left the island alone.
“He cheated on Natalie with me,” Ashley told Netflix’s TUDUM. “I will give him credit. He did everything he could to try to fix it,” she added. “But there just really wasn’t any coming back from everything that happened. I just couldn’t let it go, and I was never going to believe or trust that he really was going to change.”
