Doechii Launches Mental Health Hub Inspired by Song “Anxiety”

Doechii’s own personal journey with anxiety has not only made it into her chart-topping songs but has now led to her launching a broader mission that helps others.

The Grammy-winning rapper has become a household name this past year, with her showstopping performances and viral songs. Of those hits is Doechii’s song “Anxiety,” which was originally a rap she recorded in her bedroom for YouTube in 2019 and released on her self-produced mixtape Coven Music Sessions. Before the song’s official release earlier this month, it had already been a hit online and spoke to Doechii’s own struggles with anxiety.

On Friday, March 28, Doechii announced on Instagram that she launched a mental health hub called “Anxiety is Watching Me” — a nod to her song lyrics — as a resource for those “navigating anxiety.”

“Doechii has experienced the challenges of anxiety firsthand and is using her platform to provide resources that can help you find guidance and tools to support your mental health,” the website reads. “This is also a place where you can find comfort in knowing that there are others on the journey, as well.”

On her Instagram, Doechii wrote in the caption, “Thank you for all of the support you’ve given my song Anxiety, now let me support YOU.”
