Coachella marks the the beginning of festival season globally, and it starts tomorrow, so the best festival outfits search is officially ON.

So, if you’re frantically Googling what to wear to a festival, we’ve got you. It’s time to dust off our summer dresses, crochet trousers and crop tops and get into the spirit.

SKIP TO: Shop the 33 best festival outfits for every line-up in 2025.

We love attending concerts to see our favourite singers and bands perform live, but let’s be honest, it’s not only about the music. Festivals are also a fashion affair, so bringing your sartorial A-game is an absolute necessity.

The trends we see vary every year, but, judging by this year’s spring/summer runway looks, we’re anticipating 3D florals and bows, sheer fabrics, and sporty jackets. If it’s good enough for Acne Studios, Bottega Veneta, Sport Max and Prada, it’s good enough for a long weekend in a field, and if designer brands aren’t inspiration enough, you can take inspo from what GLAMOUR editors and contributors are planning to wear below…

On though, as much as your festival clothes should be expressive, fun, and adequately convey your excitement around attending the event, they should also be something you feel comfortable in (as well as being suited for the climate and conditions). Take it from Alexa Chung, Margot Robbie and Lily James, who wouldn’t so much as enter a field without a waterproof jacket.

Another pro-tip? Wear closed-toe shoes that wouldn’t mind getting a little scuffed, because packed crowds and the dirt that covers the festival ground will definitely affect your footwear. Boots (specifically cowboy boots or wellies) or comfortable trainers are the best options.
