It’s a good day to be a Shahs of Sunset fan. Bravo just dropped news about four brand-new series coming to the network, and one of them is the spinoff we’ve all been waiting for. Reza Farahan, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, and Mercedes “MJ” Javid are returning for The Valley: Persian Style. Of course, we’ve got everything you need to know about the new series.
Shahs of Sunset is getting The Valley treatment
Apparently, The Valley is where OG Bravo stars go for their next shot at reality TV stardom. Just like the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, the just-announced Shahs of Sunset reboot will feature familiar faces embarking on a new chapter in life along with a fresh circle of friends.
Bravo’s announcement explained, “As they take on the next stage of life in the Valley, their world is bigger, their circle is bolder, and their challenges are more real than ever. As we’ll see, their next chapter in life isn’t quieter, it’s just more complicated.”
Previously, Reza teased during an interview with Jeff Lewis that he had been filming something along with GG and MJ. The show was still in its infancy, but he suggested that some serious conversations were happening with Bravo.
“So if you go on my Instagram, what I will say is you can see pictures of myself, Golnesa, and MJ with a group of Persians you may not have known before, that are much younger and way more attractive than the previous cast,” Reza teased last year.
At the time, Reza said that he and this new group of Persians hadn’t yet signed any contracts. With Bravo’s latest announcement, it sounds like that has all changed! Shahs of Sunset is officially back.
Also, if you’re not loving the name, The Valley: Persian Style, don’t worry. That’s a working title, so there’s a good chance they’ll come up with something catchier by the time this hits our screens. Keep your eyes peeled for more details on the new series.
Shahs of Sunset is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
