If you’ve ever wondered what the KATSEYE members smell like, you don’t have to wonder anymore because we have all the deets on each of the members’ signature scents.
Speaking to Teen Vogue‘s Donya Momenian for their May/June 2025 cover story, Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung took the chance to wax poetic about fragrance, and though their comments did not make the final cut, it’d be a shame to let the members’ perfume suggestions go to waste.
As newly minted Glossier campaign stars, Sophia shares that the group has a collective soft spot for the fan-favorite Glossier You, which is famously formulated to be a “skin-scent enhancer” – i.e., a fragrance that reacts to the wearer’s pH balance and therefore will smell slightly different on everyone. (ICYMI: Aside from the original You, Glossier also sells You Rêve, You Doux, and You Fleur.)
“I feel like it’s so attractive when someone smells good,” Manon boldly proclaims when speaking of scents. “It’s my favorite compliment, like, ‘You smell good,’” Lara immediately piggybacks on her comments.

Sophia of KATSEYE’s signature scent

Out of all the KATSEYE members, Sophia is the one who perks up the most at the mention of perfume. With the influence of her mom, the star has been a perfume buff since childhood. In high school, her signature scent used to be since-discounted Bath and Body Works’ Vanilla Bean Noel. “The green one, I literally was obsessed,” she shares, “and all of my friends from high school are like, ‘I remember you smelled like vanilla and sugar and cookies.’”
However, her taste has evolved over time, and her go-to now is Bella Hadid’s Orebella in Blooming Fire. “At night is when I wear perfume. Yoonchae always sees me at night before I go to bed, I spray perfume on because it feels more for myself,” Sophia shares. “I’ve been using it at night, especially because it’s the hydrating one. So I put it on my skin and I love it. And then I mix it. I love to mix. And one of my favorite perfumes to mix all the time is Jo Malone.”
