Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have just welcomed their third baby together, a baby girl named Rocki Irish Mayers, but it looks like the long-anticipated birth might not be the only milestone in the couple’s relationship — at least if the rapper’s words are to be believed.
In a new interview with Elle, A$AP Rocky may or may not have subtly teased that he and Rihanna could be secretly married. In the interview, Rocky opens up about his family with Rihanna and their children. When asked if he is looking forward to becoming a husband, Rocky teased: “How you know I’m not already a husband?”
Before the interviewer could ask a follow-up, Rocky quickly added: “I’m still not gonna confirm it.” So, could Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have eloped? It sure seems so, but regardless of whether there’s a marriage certificate or not, the duo have stated multiple times in the past that they are partners for life.
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna went public with their relationship in 2021 after months of speculation and spending Christmas together in her native Barbados, where Rocky’s father also hails from. Speaking to GQ in May 2021, Rocky said Rihanna was the “love of [his] life,” even going as far as calling her “the One.” He said: “I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”
The couple welcomed their first child, RZA Athelston, in May 2022, and their second, Riot Rose, in August 2023. On September 24, 2025, Rihanna announced the birth of Rocki Irish, their first baby girl, on social media after announcing the pregnancy at the Met Gala red carpet in May.
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna did get married in the music video for the rapper’s single “D.M.B,” but could they have also tied the knot in real life? We’ll have to wait for that long-awaited confirmation to know for real, but one thing is for sure: their bond is super strong.
