On her personal Instagram account, Manon shared a video of her eyes and her eyelashes, showing off a very low-key detail. While she previously wore tapered eyelashes that got longer towards the outer corner of her eyes, this time, she also had some extra long clusters throughout.

Recently, this style has gone viral on TikTok, with many dubbing them manga or manhua eyelashes. There are different variations of the look, but one of the key features is extra long clusters of lashes, just like Manon’s. This look can be worn on its own like Manon, but it is also part of the bigger Douyin makeup aesthetic. Inspired by users on the Chinese version of the app, TikTokers began similarly wearing manhua lashes and glittery eyeshadows with bright blush and went viral. Now, elements of the style have started to pop up in our everyday routines as well.
