Inside Uber One Rodeo: Fringe, Snakeskin, and the Cowboy Aesthetic Is Here to Stay

Save a horse, ride a mechanical bull. Cowboy energy was the spirit of the evening at The One Party by Uber: Rodeo this past weekend in Austin, Texas.

The special, exclusive event was thrown in celebration of the F1 United States Grand Prix, which took place on Sunday, October 19 at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas. The One Party by Uber: Rodeo, held at a real Texan ranch, was completely free for Uber One members to enjoy all the Western-themed, star-studded fun of race weekend.

Everything’s bigger in Texas, they say, and Uber made sure to deliver on that with a resplendent and rowdy night at the rodeo, complete with a bonafide bull-riding competition to kick off the evening, fare from Austin’s iconic Terry Black’s BBQ and Torchy’s Tacos, a fully-operating mechanical bull, and a show-stopping performance by the three-time Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band.
