The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and Below Deck Down Under crossover may be over, but the questions remain. I hope that Heather Gay left the BDDU crew a fat tip because they deserved hazard pay. The RHOSLC ladies were a handful! So, what exactly happened between Heather and Captain Jason Chambers?
Of course, the RHOSLC ladies were a handful. Between the screaming fights, bizarre requests, and everyone wanting to spend time with Captain Jason, it was a lot. “We didn’t know what we’re in for, but wow,” Jason said of the charter. Wow, indeed.
Captain Jason was Heather Gay’s “guide in many ways”
Once the Salt Lake City ladies were on board, a drunken Heather spilled a secret. “Jason and I are friends. We have a history,” she stated. “We’ve f*cked around before.” In her confessional, Heather asked the producer to remove her comment. Alas, the remarks stayed in.
However, when Captain Jason was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, he had a different take. “You’ve been in Sydney before for Mardi Gras. What happens in Sydney, stays in Sydney,” Jason told host Andy Cohen, before adding, “No, it’s not true.”
Recently, when Heather was a guest on WWHL, Andy brought up Jason’s denial. “He said maybe … maybe nothing happened between you,” Andy said. “Maybe nothing happened?” Heather exclaimed. When Andy confirmed, she responded, “Well, that’s fine if that’s how he defines nothing. That’s fine.” She added, “Note to all the ladies that … Jason dates. Just kidding!”
So, Andy continued to dig for the truth. “Well, what did happen then?” he asked. “Well, nothing,” Heather said with a laugh. “Nothing. I love him. We had so much fun in Australia, and it’s like a weird kinship when you’re in a different … I mean, it’s his country.”
She continued, “It was a different country for me, and we’re doing press and we’re hanging out every day. You know, and he was my guide in many ways.” No, I don’t know. Did Heather lie about hooking up with Captain Jason? Is it time to bring out the lie detector test?
