Taylor Swift Releases Final Trailer for Eras Concert Doc Before Premiere

Taylor Swift is giving one last glimpse of her Eras Tour concert documentary before its official release.

“On December 12, every new song, every new moment [and] everything you’ve waited for,” a trailer shared via Disney on Monday, December 1, read, as Swift, 35, performed The Tortured Poets Department tracks during her tour. “Including a new acoustic set.”

Elsewhere in the trailer, Swift spoke directly to her fans.

“We’ve had so long to prepare for the end of this tour, and we get to play one last show for you here tonight,” she gushed. “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.”

Taylor Swift’s surprises just keep on coming with a six-part docuseries about the Eras Tour premiering this winter. The project was officially announced during the Monday, October 13, broadcast of Good Morning America. Swift, 35, is giving fans behind-the-scenes access to the tour that broke records around the world from March 2023 to December 2024. […]

Swift embarked on her three-hour-long concert tour in March 2023, traversing countries and continents until December 2024. The shows wrapped in Vancouver, Canada, which the pop star had filmed for a Disney+ documentary.

“It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” she captioned an Instagram announcement last month. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

The doc will feature her TTPD set, which she added to the lineup in May 2024, and the last night’s surprise song medley of “Long Live,” “New Year’s Day” and “The Manuscript.”

In addition to her Final Show concert movie, Disney+ will also release a six-episode docuseries chronicling her experience on the tour.

“Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you,” Swift captioned a trailer shared via Instagram earlier this month. “This time, we’re going backstage. The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries, streams on @disneyplus beginning Dec 12.”

Swift previously called her touring experience “perfect for what it was” during an appearance on now-fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast.

Travis Kelce is giving main character energy in the first look at Taylor Swift‘s new Eras Tour docuseries. The official trailer debuted during the Monday, October 13, episode of Good Morning America, and it wasn’t hard to spot Kelce, 36, in the behind-the-scenes footage from his fiancée’s historic tour. In one clip, the couple shared […]

“It feels great [to have completed it], to be honest,” Swift said on a “New Heights” episode in August. “I do miss it, but it was perfect for what it was. It was a lot of physical therapy and it was a lot of being in a state of perpetual physical discomfort.”

She added, “I miss the fans and I missed that connection, but at the same time, it was so special. It was the most formative time of my life. I learned so much about how far I can push myself and if I set a goal. Making that a three-and-a-half-hour show in the beginning, you can’t be sick one day and decide tonight it’s going to be two-and-a-half hours. It’s really just prioritizing the fans’ experience.”

The Eras Tour was also the catalyst for her relationship with Kelce, 36, who first asked her out because he was mesmerized by her July 2023 concert in Kansas City. He later made his onstage debut at a London show in June 2024, and attended countless more.

In addition, Swift’s Eras experience and romance with Kelce inspired her latest studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which dropped in October.

Taylor Swift The Eras Tour: The Final Show premieres on Disney+ Friday, December 12.
