Netflix has recently dropped its latest instalment in the Selling (Sunset, The OC etc) franchise – Selling The City, based in New York and starring real estate boss, Eleonora Srugo.
Throughout the series, she helms a team of agents looking to close the most incredible deals for the most beautiful, luxe pieces of New York real estate.
But who is Eleonora Srugo, really? Here’s what we know about the Selling The City star.
Who is Eleonora Srugo?
She is a long-time estate agent superstar born in Israel and raised in New York, having joined real estate firm Douglas Elliman back in 2009 and, according to her bio, worked to “consistently rank among the city’s Top 10 Individual Agents”. In 2023, she struck out and formed her own Eleonora and Co team at Douglas Elliman after closing a $75 million deal, making part of the firm her own in a way. According to her company profile she is quadrilingual, being fluent in English and Hebrew, and proficient in German and Spanish.
We have no idea how she has the time, but Eleonora also has her own fitness-focussed YouTube channel, which sees her document her incredible exercise regime, which involves a lot of weight training. So impressive.
What is Eleonora’s role in Selling The City?
Selling The City sees her lead a team of agents in their mission to sell real estate across NYC, promoting a strong approach towards leadership and her motivation to mentor “women who were comfortable learning”.
“I was looking for open minds and women who were comfortable learning,” she told Netflix’s Tudum. “I’m at a place now where I can share my secret sauce and mentor people, knowing that it does not take away from me. Their success, shine, and accomplishments make everyone better — and actually more money.”
