Getting engaged isn’t the only big step Tom Holland and Zendaya have taken in their relationship recently. Just before he popped the big question over the holiday season, the couple also got matching tattoos together.
Artist Lily Jarnryd recently revealed to People that Holland and Zendaya came into their shop to get couples tattoos. Holland got the letter “z” for Zendaya on his ribcage, and she got the letter “t” for Tom on hers. A small glimpse of Zendaya’s fresh ink could be seen from beneath Zendaya’s orange strapless dress on the Golden Globes 2025 red carpet, where she also debuted her engagement ring.

Between the new bling and the stunning and trendy copper monochrome look, it’s understandable if you didn’t spot Z’s ink initially. The ring was understandably a scene stealer. The east-west cushion cut is right on trend, and experts think it will only become more popular with Zendaya’s influence.
Holland and Zendaya have been dating for a few years now after meeting on the set of the second Spider-Man film franchise. So, this isn’t the first time the duo has worn a matching look. Just in the fall of last year, they were spotted on a night out, both wearing one of the hottest trends of the season. They stepped out in burgundy-red looks, making color coordination cute as can be. They also were seen in very sleek all-black looks after a performance of Holland’s play Romeo & Juliet in London.
While the couple has yet to speak about the tattoos or their engagement publicly, that is standard for this duo. They have previously shared that despite their shared global fame, they opt to keep many parts of their relationship private for themselves to enjoy.
